We're looking for a Technology leader with a proven track record in leading technology strategic direction and oversight of the company's core technical platforms, ensuring they seamlessly integrate to provide a robust and easy-to-use experience for engineers. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Lead platform engineering teams utilizing Agile and DevOps practicesChampion the enterprise platforms strategy and roadmap, alongside platform architectsLead with a reuse first mindset, exciting product teams to consume core servicesFocus on the alignment of platform services across enterprise leadersPlay a critical role in setting the platform engineering strategy and ensuring its execution for the enterpriseUnlock enablement through leading the team responsible for defining and building core, reusable servicesActively engage in implementing architectural designs and engineering processes that enable delivery teams, support rapid innovation, modernize applications and development lifecycles, and facilitate migration to the public cloudPartner with development teams to evolve capabilities and facilitate practical automation solutions that can be consumed in a self-service mannerContribute to delivering quality-driven enterprise architecture-aligned and engineering practices across productsEvolve and maintain our core platforms technology stack with focus on ensuring all systems run on supported technologies/platformsManage budgets and personnel; engage with leadership in the scoping and planning processSupport personnel through coaching, counselling, learning opportunities, and career developmentManage vendor relationships and staff augmentation strategiesAttract, retain, and develop talent within a diverse teamEnsure smooth day-to-day operations of shared data platforms

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceDemonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrityBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field; Advanced Degree preferred7 years of progressive leadership experience, including experience leading other technical managers and team members10 years of experience in leading Agile, DevOps and security practices to manage technology delivery
