Job description
Responsible for screening applications for information pertaining to FMCSA-DOT and Forward Air qualification standards, to include employment verifications, Motor Vehicle Reports, DAC, & Criminal Background Checks Review and process CDL driver applications in a timely and efficient manner to support the recruitment cycle. Ensure all applications are complete and compliant with USDOT and FMCSA rules and regulations for driver qualification. Verify driver qualifications, including background checks, drug screenings, and driving records, in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. This requires the ability to self regulate when a file is complete and when a bit more research could provide a more risk mitigated qualification Communicate with applicants to gather additional information, clarify discrepancies, and provide updates on the status of their applications.
