About the Job

As a social media coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of activities, including setting social strategy and social media management for designated client accounts and events. This role will play a key part in a growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using strategic processes, creativity and emerging technologies to produce world-class solutions and events for our clients. You ll help serve clients across the country.

This position is remote but will be required to work normal business hours related to client customer service needs. Additional after-hours work may be required based on project needs and assignments. Travel and onsite in-person support may be required.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

Support the development, management, execution of integrated marketing campaigns and solutions to deliver on clients objectives

Conduct competitor analysis and stay up to date on the latest social media and digital marketing trends and best practices

Become an expert in clients business or event, their brand voice, and the competitive landscape

Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure consistency of brand messaging, designing eye-catching visuals, etc.

Social Media

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives; create and maintain various client content calendars with a mix of engaging and informative posts

Contribute to day-to-day support of client social media channels, including content planning, composing captions, publishing, community management, paid advertising and reporting

Analytics & Reporting

Measure quantifiable growth goals of social media efforts through various conversion rates; analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of campaigns, translates metrics to actual insights gained to help inform marketing, development, and other key areas

Stay informed on the latest social media analytics tools and platforms

Project Coordination & Administrative

Research and compile data to prepare internal and external project documents including project logs, comparison charts, weekly updates, flow charts, agendas, presentations, and tracking maps

Quality Assurance of documents and data in prep for Project Manager review

Support additional client, events and marketing efforts as needed, including administrative support

What You Bring

3-4+ years of post-college experience

Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects

Experience in social media marketing and strategy; displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, how each one can be deployed in different scenarios, engagement strategy, social media trends

Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills

Experience in content marketing techniques; to include writing and editing content

Self-starter and resourceful. Ability to work in a cross-functional role, adaptable with the ability to leverage various resources to help inform work. Ability to identify problems and develop and execute solutions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communicating priority updates to stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills; with the ability to talk with people at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

Prior agency setting experience

Meeting management skills; have led or participated in formal client meetings

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred but not required)

Salary $60-70K + Benefits
