We provide behavioral health therapy and counseling to children and families, incorporating best practices to address their mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to assess and treat mental health disorders, emotional problems, and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care for clients.
- Continuously assess and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Adhere to ethical principles, professional standards, and legal guidelines related to mental health practice.
- Provide timely documentation of client's progress and diagnostic information in their medical records.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- State licensure or certification as an LMFT, LCSW, or L-PC in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working with children and families.
- Knowledge of evidence-based best practices, trauma-informed therapy, and client-centered treatment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred.
