Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 USD per yearAdvanced Technology & Research Corporation (www.atrcorp.com) is seeking to fill the following full-time permanent position. Duties include, but not limited to:Research and development of polymer products for naval useIdentify means of quantifying polymer aging effectsStudy adhesive performance for developmental polymer formulationManage laboratory equipment and qualify new mixing equipmentDesign and manufacture molds to produce prototypeProduce technical documents and reportsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Material EngineeringExperiences with polymer processing is a plus2 5 years of DoD laboratories or industrial experiences are desiredSKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge in polymer products and characteristicsFamiliar with industrial safety requirementsAptitude and desire for hands on workGood leadership and organizational skillAble to effectively communicate orally and in writingOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation.
