The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at The Allicock Group supports the delivery of speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists. This role involves assisting with assessments, implementing therapy plans, and providing valuable support to clients.

This role involves assisting with assessments, implementing therapy plans, and providing valuable support to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Support speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy sessions and interventions.
- Work with clients on targeted speech and language exercises and activities.
- Document clients' progress and responses to therapy.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to modify therapy plans based on client needs.
- Help clients and families practice recommended exercises and strategies.
- Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
- Associate's degree or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance.
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
- Dedication to supporting clients' progress and well-being.
