We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm EST, Wednesday 8:30am to 6:00pm EST, and Friday 8:30am to 2:00pm EST; Lunch Monday-Thursday 12:30pm to 1:00pm EST

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provideexceptional customer servicetoall consumersandmembersofthe clinic staff
  • Fillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailablefor verificationunderdirect supervisionoftheregisteredpharmacist
  • Orders,receives,and storesincomingpharmacy supplies
  • Receivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationorders
  • Verifiesmedication stockandentersdatain computertomaintaininventoryrecords
  • WorkswiththePharmacisttoassetinthepharmacyfunctionsand keepingthepharmacyin compliancewithallfederaland staterequirements
  • Performs various clericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartment
  • Communicateswith strongprofessional verbalandwritten communication skills
  • Otherdutiesasassigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
  • Access to reliable transportation

PreferredQualifications:

  • NationalPharmacyTechnicianCertification
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
