The Role
The Project Engineering Manager coordinates the Project Engineers to ensure projects are designedon-time, on budget, and delivered with quality drawings,specificationsandaccuratebills of material.
- Coordinate and plan engineering resource assignments to fulfill the needs of active projects and sales support.
- Oversee the engineering process to ensure proper workflow for cost effective and quality engineering deliverables.
- Act as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of our core solutionsincluding,equipment design, industrial HVAC systems, dust collection, material handling, facility layout,powerand control system design, etc.
- Develop a deepunderstandandexpertiseinBlastOneequipment and solutions.
- Actively mentor and develop engineering staff and implement training and develop plans for individuals and the team as a whole.
- Be the steward ofBlastOneproject engineering standards to ensure quality design deliverables including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
- Spend a portion of time actively working on project deliverables for area of expertise.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineeringpreferred
- 10+ years of experience in the design and implementation of industrial projects
- 10+ years of experience in designing industrial facilities and/or equipment
- Understanding of industrial ventilation systems and control
- Experience with installation,startupand commissioning of industrial projects
