Commercial Lines Account Executive North Baltimore County, MD

CSP's Real Estate & Financial Services has partnered with a full-service independent insurance agency on the hiring of an additional member to join their growing team. Located in Baltimore, this individual will be aiding Sales Executives/Account Executives and clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are required in this position.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and technical support to Sales Executives/Account Executives specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations

Schedule appointments with clients as requested and occasionally accompany Sales Executives/Account Executives on prospect and client meetings

Manage the application process, renewals, and invoicing of accounts

Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals

Responsible for audit reviews of policies and policy verification

Assist clients with questions regarding claims, coverage, account/policy information, etc.

Participate in and attend meetings

Key Qualifications:

College education with a minimum of 3 years insurance experience or a minimum of 7 overall business experience

Commercial lines account management experience handling account sizes from $5k to $250k in premium

Must be proficient managing insurance products to include: General liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Umbrella/Excess, Cyber Liability, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, Directors and Officers, and Employment Practices Liability

Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately

Property, Casualty License (procured after 90-day probationary period)

Knowledge of insurance products and usage s, insurance markets, insurance rating and underwriting procedures
