Washington DC, on-siteClearance : Active SecretJob Description :We are seeking a highly qualified Project Manager with extensive experience and advanced education to join our team at the US Coast Guard (USCG) in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with a focus on coordinating and implementing technical projects and initiatives within the USCG's framework.

Reporting to the CG-834 Team, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following duties:Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the Contract team in support of the CG-834 Team.Coordinating, implementing, and aligning CG Common Core tools with the goals, strategies, and objectives among directorates and technical authorities.Documenting and organizing CG Common Core as a SharePoint system, including technical design approach, functional specifications, document lists, and libraries (e.g., training materials, references, templates).Developing schedules for recurring quarterly and fiscal year maintenance on CG Common Core.Assisting with maintenance of the CG Common Core configuration control board.Developing and maintaining CG Common Core briefing material, including updated

coversheets/summaries

of transactions and impacts.Developing an index of lessons learned for CG Common Core.Providing status reports on ongoing projects.Running and analyzing financial reports.Completing annual budget and spending plans.Familiarity with Financial Resource Management Manual (FRMM), Financial Systems Modernization Solutions (FSMS), OOMAT Open Obligations Management Tool, CG Portal software, CG Business Intelligence (CGBI), CG Incident Management Handbook, Personal Property Management Manual, Rescue and Survival Systems Manual (R&SS), and other relevant tools and manuals.Performing other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.

About You : The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Master's degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field required.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Minimum of 12 years of experience in project management or related field, preferably in a government or military environment.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
