Sunday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm
$32-$35
The Lead Maintenance Mechanic will oversee and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team. This role requires expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. The Lead Maintenance Mechanic will also be responsible for training, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime during production processes.

The Lead Maintenance Mechanic will oversee and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team. This role requires expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. The Lead Maintenance Mechanic will also be responsible for training, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime during production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance mechanics.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities and assign tasks to team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and refrigeration units.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Monitor the condition of equipment and recommend improvements or replacements.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of maintenance mechanic experience.
- Customer focused and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills both internal and external.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong communicator.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
