Position Overview
Riverside Research's Intelligence and Defense Solutions Directorate (IDS) has a full-time opening in the Reston and Centreville, VA area for a mid-level technical advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with team members to improve and enhance the Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) enterprise with contributions to Advanced Missile Technical Collection (AMTC) and related systems, processes, and policy.
All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. This position requires an active security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
Responsibilities
Provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the AMTC MASINT mission area through expert guidance on technology-related matters, assessing existing systems, and designing solutions
Support the AMTC community's annual assessments of intelligence needs, collection capabilities and performance metrics, risks, and gaps analysis
Support other mission areas in gathering MASINT data transmission requirements and support interoperability assessments and documentation of the enterprise architecture
Support strategic communications, coordinate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders and senior leaders and advisors
Facilitate AMTC Working Group activities and interface with various technical advisory teams
Develop collaborative relationships with the Government and all MASINT mission area teams
Facilitate ongoing work with organizations and people across the MASINT enterprise
Work at Government and Riverside Research facilities for project execution
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or other related STEM fields of study
7-20 years of experience in engineering, information/data analysis, and MASINT
Be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication and CI polygraph with the ability to maintain this clearance level
Desired Qualifications:
Master of Science or Ph.D. in in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or other related STEM fields of study
Experience with advanced missile technical tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED)
Knowledge of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) organization, mission and capabilities
Experience with intelligence production processes and workflows
Experience working in or with the Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense
Experience using modeling & simulation or and other analytical tools
Ability to manage time independently with minimal direct supervision

$115,000 - $180,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
