Job Requirements of the Sales Manager:
  • Targets accounts, markets, or segments by developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Understanding Market opportunities and driving revenue
  • Responds to and manages complex incoming opportunities by understanding industry specific trends and landscapes.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
  • Create and communicate sales goals to C-Level executives, as well as reports on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets through presentations and proposals.
  • Works with partners to develop creative ideas and proposals for projects.
  • Understands the overall market - economic trends, supply and demand etc.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts/rates.
  • Handles business with significant revenue potential while maintaining relationships and adhering to customer expectations.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Provides excellent customer sales service to grow share of the account.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develops and facilitates execution of contracts as required.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence, account management) as needed.
  • Executes brand s Customer Service Standards and property s Brand Standards through the sales process.
Performs other duties as assigned and needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales from start to finish.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
  • Knowledge of how to develop client focused, differentiated and achievable solutions. Understanding of how to position products against competitors.
