DescriptionJob Title: Business Information Services ManagerSummaryThe Business Information Services Manager (BISM) works as a full-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. (Zeiders). Duties can be performed in the Woodbridge, VA office, or remotely with a schedule aligned with U.S. Eastern Time. This position supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Zeiders contract management team for human services contracts, including our contingent work with the Military OneSource contract. The successful candidate will coordinate with the prime contractor s information technology and assurance personnel.The BISM will report back to the contract management regarding upcoming Information Technology (IT)/Information Assurance (IA) changes in the program as well as closely coordinate with the prime contractor on IA matters including the applications of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGS) and IA related reporting.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the IT/IA business relationship with the prime contractor and be a point of escalation for response and technical issues. Manage any interfaces with the prime contractor s or government s systems for optimum results.Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of IT policies and procedures as they relate to the contracts in coordination with the prime contractor.Manage the company s systems portfolio to address business needs of the contracts, system usage, and operations. Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs. Review existing systems and identify opportunities for process improvements through data sharing and process automation. Accurately translate business requirements into system functionality.Coordinate implementations for new and/or upgraded systems for both on-site and cloud-based services with the prime contractor.Plan and manage contract support resources by working with the contract Business Managers, the IT Leadership and Subcontractor Program Manager (or delegates). Manage contract expectations as to implementation priorities and resources.Be the primary point of contact for contract Information Assurance matters including Third Party Assessments, Government system access management and liaison with the prime contractor and the government.Liaison with other departments, units and individuals on joint planning and activities, including corporate training, communications, and corporate change management.Undertake assignments on projects or special initiatives as appropriate in coordination with the prime contractor.Be the primary Information Systems Department (ISD) presence in the bid to execution transition process.Required Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field coupled with 5+ years IT program management experience. Specific military experience may be substituted if applicable upon reviewProfessional experience managing projects (i.e. mapping, software/process flow, system linkages, etc.) primarily using commercial off-the shelf solutions, both hosted and resident.Professional depth successfully developing and managing IT vendor contracts, including budgets.The ability to attain a Security + CE within nine months of hire.Must be able to earn 40 technology rated CPEs per calendar year.Must have the ability to obtain an active secret (T3) clearance.Must have DOD/ Government contract experience.This position requires access to U.S. Government systems therefore U.S. Citizenship is required.Demonstrated understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success for the business.The ability to independently think strategically to consider realistic options for things such as:Connect the dots of contract needs and coordinate with other members of the organization to fulfill contract needs and requirements.A consultative future focused outlook that can bring new (to the contract) ideas to the table.Demonstrated ability to anticipate and communicate challenges, identify opportunities, and take initiative to address them without explicit direction.Strong organizational and planning skills.Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.Keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently or in a group as a problem solver.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Be able to positively represent Zeiders in front of the prime contractor while maintaining a spirit of cooperation and One Team, One Fight.Preferred ExperienceKnowledge of or experience in virtual call centers and support/maintenance of Power BI/Power Platform applications.A current Security + CEA current active secret (T3) clearanceCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses.
