Leidos is dedicated to cultivating a highly proficient Talent Acquisition team capable of discerning the professional aspirations of potential candidates and aligning them with rewarding opportunities within our organization. To realize this vision, we are seeking an exceptional Talent Acquisition Director to complement our Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). This Business Area, part of the Leidos National Security Sector, focuses on full spectrum cyber solutions, secure software, and intelligence analysis. Headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, CABA operates globally, with personnel stationed across the US and internationally, centered around major hubs in Reston, VA; Springfield, VA; and Columbia, MD. The chosen candidate will have the chance to enhance their leadership skills, influence organizational expansion, and contribute to initiatives that shape national security. Reporting directly to the VP of Talent Acquisition for the National Security Sector, they will oversee a team of over 10 senior recruiters and lead various strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor recruiters in full lifecycle recruitment.
  • Collaborate with Operational VPs, Division Managers, and Hiring Managers to devise tailored recruiting strategies, and execute these strategies effectively.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in staffing for Intelligence Communities, specializing in solutions such as Cyber, Mission Software Systems, Digital Modernization, Integrated Systems, and Enabling Technologies.
  • Provide expert consultation to internal stakeholders on market trends, planning, strategy, and execution to enhance organizational effectiveness and business value.
  • Lead or participate in recruiting events and networking activities, potentially requiring flexible work schedules to meet business demands.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supervising and leading teams or projects.
  • The Talent Acquisition Director must demonstrate drive, creativity, and humility in their approach to thoughts, communications, and actions.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and embrace change, particularly as the company experiences significant growth.
  • Strong communication skills, innovative IT sourcing strategies, demonstrated candidate engagement experience, pipeline development expertise, requisition qualification proficiency, and effective negotiation skills.
  • Experience with large enterprise ATS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) and clearances associated with IC.

Additional information:

  • Ability to obtain an active US security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, as needed.
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
