Operations Specialist

Job description

ICF seeks an Operations Specialist who will directly support the federal cybersecurity client's day-to-day programmatic needs. The Operations Specialist is an administrative support specialist who will be responsible for supporting activities related to the coordination of cybersecurity operations across the federal government. This includes providing support for coordination of client meetings and tasks, liaising with client team members and their stakeholders, and providing general administrative support to the project. The position is a hybrid role and on-site work will be conducted in Arlington, VA.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate logistics and planning of project related meetings and activities
  • Set-up and maintain an organized system for management of project files and documentation
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including the client
  • Support development of reports, project documents, and other program materials as needed
  • Coordinate dissemination of information and program materials to key stakeholders
  • Manage meetings to include drafting and sending agendas, scheduling, and maintaining meeting minutes
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of workflow processes to support efforts to continuously improve project management and organization
  • Work with the Team Lead to organize and track key project deadlines, metrics, and deliverables
  • Act as point of contact for the client and provide prompt, substantive and comprehensive responses to all client needs and requests
  • Provide feedback about challenges and successes and troubleshoot any barriers encountered within the assigned tasks
  • Provide support with other general administrative duties as assigned.


What you'll need:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or project support role
  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position); active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.


Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Successful candidates will have:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Customer service orientation with interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work well both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as clients and their customers
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Project) and MS SharePoint and Teams
  • Experience drafting reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$71,958.00 - $122,328.00
