Program Sr Manager

We are currently seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our FMDS team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.

Responsibilities Include:

Provides technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s)

Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting

May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s)

Coordinate and manage deliverables, budgets, and timelines

Manages risk tracking process

Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison- client engagement

Manage Task Order(s) ensuring all tasks are complete meet schedule, and performance requirements

Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables

Mentor and provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members

Other duties as assigned

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree( in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field) + 10 yrs. related experience
Qualifications:
  • Must be clearable for a position of public trust
  • Experience in project management or a related role required
  • Cloud experience/certifications required
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment required
  • Solid technical background in software development
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to speak up appropriately and to raise issues to teams and senior management
  • Ability to thrive in situations of complexity and ambiguity while functioning at a high level of productivity in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrates Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or similar programs
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated strength in solving complex problems

The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $204,360. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
