Position: BOLC Support Specialist
Work Environment: Remote
Clearance Required: Secret

Status:Contingent Upon Contract Award

Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is currently seeking an exceptional BOLC Support Specialist to join our team and provide invaluable support to the Army National Guard Strength Maintenance Division, Data Analyst Support Services contract.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Secret clearance and possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirements.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and generating orders for the BOLC training seat requirements for 17 basic military branches.
  • Provide data entry, statistical analysis, and production of statistical reports resulting from the annual Basic Officer Leadership Course Conference (BOLC-C), and the Structure Manning Decision Review (SMDR).
  • Serves as an action Officer for reviewing, managing, and updating data in the Army Training Requirements and Resources (ATRRS) database.
  • Preparing the training paths of Cadets/Lieutenants from scheduling, orders generation, through BOLC completion, and release back to their respective State ARNG Command.
  • Answer a variety of questions that require the use of standard reference tools and specific, readily available sources. Utilizes Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to perform queries, prepare reports, and studies.
  • Manage scheduling of Initial Military Training for newly commissioned Officer accessions and work in conjunction with all 54 States and Territories assigned Officer Strength Managers (OSM)
  • Respond to inquiries from all university Professors Military Science (PMS), Human Resources Assistants (HRAs), and all 54 States and Territories ARNG commands concerning policy, methodology, and objectives of the BOLC Section processes.
  • Utilize knowledge of military personnel systems to minimize the impact on the Officers concerned, ensure all mission requirements are sustained, that orders are issued promptly, and make amendments to schedules with limited notice.
  • Attend the annual BOLC-C conducted by Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), G3/5/7, Training Operations Management Activity (TOMA), and ROTC Cadet Summer Training (CST) the United States Army Accessions Command (USAAC) relative to the ARNG's BOLC Section.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with the Army National Guard
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Required Education:
  • High school experience
