Looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer II to join our team to work on rehabilitating projects and deign projects.

Duties

• Fully Onsite for the first 6 months then 2 days a week remote
• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes.
• Contributes to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope.
• Performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Collects, assimilates, and manages data for engineering work.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles used in similar engineering analysis.
• Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Create and manage 3D surfaces to produce design drawings and volume calculations.
• Work on design teams to create design drawings for heavy civil infrastructure including mass and detailed grading, drainage, roads, tanks, pipelines, concrete structures using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Must have 5+ years of experience.
• Must have Bachelor's Degree.
• Someone with bridge/bridge inspection experience preferred.
• NHI Certified a plus.
