Job description
Position Summary:
Segue Technologies seeks a Pega System Architect to support our government clients and provide technical leadership as we develop and expand our Pega business capability. This position is contingent on contract award.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Segue leadership to analyze new opportunities and provide written technical input for all business capture activities from a Pega perspective and approach
Support the implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks
Support the implementation of Pega projects to ensure the implementation is consistent with design decisions, standards and best practices
Work with Segue team members and our clients to help elicit business capability requirements to facilitate proper application deployment
Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements and well designed, well performing solutions using PegaSystems technology
Identify new opportunities to optimize performance and efficiency of processes and reporting through digital solutions
Support Segue Business Development in customer meetings related to Pega opportunities and engagements as required
Additional tasks as required
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Electronics or related field
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSA) or higher certification level.
3+ years' experience in customer-focused software development projects (using Pega or other common development tools/languages, such as .NET or Enterprise Java)
Experience formulating potential solutions in response to stated customer needs
Experience speaking with customers to understand needs and requirements in order to visualize potential solutions as implemented using Pega
Advanced understanding of business processes and how they can be realized using Pega
Experience explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users in both formal and informal settings
Experience working with other technical resources to understand required integration points
Experience working with system development team members in support of projects
Agile development experience, including the ability to describe Agile practices and principles to prospective and existing customers
Knowledge of both cloud-based and on-premises Pega installations
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level security clearance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
Pega UX/UI design skills a plus
Experience supporting or leading Government / DoD software projects
Familiarity with DoD DIACAP/RMF requirements and remediation
Active Secret level DOD security clearance
