Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid)

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Compensation: $70,000-85,000 per year (plus bonus)

Our client, a growing real estate investment trust, is looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their growing accounting department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university and 6+ months of accounting experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Journal entries
• Tax assistance and compliance
• Month-end close assistance

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university (required)
• 6+ months of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting (required)
