Job Description

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Government Contract Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to live in within a government approved HUBZoneboundary. The candidate will need to possess a deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements. The Contract Analyst will work collaboratively with our team to manage contracts, respond to data calls, assist in proposal preparation, and maintain accurate pricing and bill rates. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in Service Contract Act (SCA) regulations and be able to effectively manage SCA-compliant contracts. Also,thispositionrequires the analyst to live within agovernmentapproved HUBZoneboundary. Dobbs Defense Solutions is in search of an adept and meticulous Government Contract Analyst to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate must reside within a government approved HUBZone boundary. This pivotal role requires an extensive grasp of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure adherence to government contracting standards. Working closely with our team, the Contract Analyst will oversee contract management, address data requests, aid in proposal development, and uphold precise pricing and billing rates. Proficiency in Service Contract Act (SCA) regulations is essential for managing SCA-compliant contracts efficiently.


Duties

  • FAR Compliance: Ensure adherence to government contracting requirements by demonstrating proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), staying updated on regulatory changes, and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize various software tools such as Salesforce, Govwin, GSA, Unanet, and Samto streamline contract management and reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and organized records.
  • Contract Support: Manage contract modifications, funding requirements, and customer engagement forprocured contracts, providing fluid support to prime and subcontract clients.
  • Proposal Support and Data Calls Response: Collaborate with the proposal team to prepare submit accurate and compliant proposals, verifying completeness and adherence of contract requirements. Additionally,efficiently respond to data calls from government agencies or clients, providingrequested information promptly and accurately while maintaining a high data standards.
  • SCA Compliance: Ensure compliance with Service Contract Act (SCA) regulations, including accurate reporting of wage determinations and fringe benefit requirements for SCA-compliant contracts, and effectively manage SCA contracted projects.
  • Pricing and Bill Rates: Analyze pricing and bill rates for contracts proposals and negotiations, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with government standards, and assisting in the development of cost proposals and pricing models.

Qualifications
Required education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Living in a governmentapproved HUBZoneboundary.
  • Prior experience in government contracting, proposal preparation, and data calls response.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand pricing and bill rates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
