Day to Day
A federal contracting company is looking for a Cleared Superintendent (Secret or higher, will hold clearance) to oversee multiple renovation projects at Camp David. The Superintendent will play a critical role in the oversight of mission critical wok on minor construction, siding, roofing, asphalt, concrete, plumbing, HVAC, switchgear maintenance projects. At any time you will oversee the progress of 8-10 subcontractor crews of 1-4 people each. Typical hours are M-F with 10 hour days M-Th, and an admin day on Friday. Candidates must have a secret clearance or higher, and the ideal candidate will have come up through the trades before moving into Superintendent work on mission critical SCIF projects, not be afraid to problem solve with the subcontractors, and have client facing/ preconstruction experience.
Must have
Experience working in a construction trade (Carpentry, Masonry, Asphalt, Etc.)
3-5+ years' experience as a Superintendent for SCIF work
Experience in Commercial, Mission Critical projects
Plusses
Experience working with preconstruction (understanding of cost estimation and bidding process)
