in support of our team.The Technical Program Manager

is responsible for managing very complex and high risk programs. Must have experience with projects and operations of a nature similar in size and scope as those pertaining to this award.Responsibilities include :Provide insight on exactly what this role does and how it plays a role in the big picture for the organization.The Program Manager (PM) serves as the primary point of contact for work performed under the contract.The PM plans, directs, and coordinates cross-functional team activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated programs from initiation to the operational stage.Provides services to management personnel to review and evaluate current program operations, assists in developing leadership systems to improve processes, develops and carries out strategic planning activities, and assists in developing goals, processes, and procedures.Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organizes and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.Determines, monitors, and reviews all project/program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risks. Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key program criteria.Maintains awareness of emerging project/program management techniques.Responsible for overseeing the budget, submitting monthly reports and invoices, and providing quality control of technical deliverables, managing staff, delegating internal work assignments, and coordinates financial, contractual, technical, and administrative issues with the Program Manager, Contracting Officer s Representative (COR), and Contracting Officer (CO) as required.The program manager role includes leadership, mentorship, quality assurance, project scheduling and tracking, and decision-oriented recommendations on support areas identified in the SOW.PM must have proven experience (i.e., a minimum of ten (10) years) in managing federal IT security programs to include support for both financial and information security external audits.BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline.Professional Certification: Must have and maintain one or more professional certifications that are in accordance with the standards and practices as specified in the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO 21500 - Guidance on Project Management (e.g., PMP, CPM, etc.) In place of a professional certification, an additional 5 years of relevant experience (i.e., 15 years) is considered as the minimum experience level.Technical Skills:Experience with Annual Financial Statement (FISCAM) and FISMA Audits.
