Position: Senior Contracts Administrator/Contracts ManagerLocation: Fairfax, VA or Irvine, CA, Hybrid Schedule may be ConsideredSecurity Clearance Required: Secret or Ability to Obtain Secret Security Clearance RequiredPosition DescriptionThe Senior Contract Administrator/Contracts Manager will report to the Director of Contracts and support internal and external customers in the day-to-day administration of company contracts and subcontract agreements according to the company policies and procedures, legal requirements, and customer/contract specifications. The ideal candidate will have cradle-to-grave experience in administering Department of Defense prime contracts and subcontracts and will be responsible for negotiating contracts, advising management, and handling the implementation of contracts for optimal efficiency. The ideal candidate must also have strong written and oral communication skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with little to no supervision in a fast-paced, exciting environment.Required Skills and Responsibilities* Experience administering Cost-Reimbursable, Time and Material, and Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) type contracts with the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, in a research and development and production environment* Comprehensive knowledge of government contracting policies that include the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)* Ensure compliance with government regulations* Experience reviewing contractual terms and conditions to make sure there is minimal risk and then preparing analyses for positions on negotiations to support business goals and objectives* Responsible for building effective internal and external relationships, serving as an authorized representative for DZYNE, and interfacing with customer contractual representatives* Manage established contracts, including ensuring information integrity, negotiating changes and contract terms, modifications, and monitoring performance to deliver outcomes to achieve client and company expectations* Define contract requirements and monitor performance* Provide contract summaries to all stakeholders* Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and customer concerns related to company performance* Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations and adherence to approval requirements for proposal and contractual actions* Prepare and analyze price proposals and conduct proposal preparation for submission to a requested solicitation* Lead and support audits, as needed, to support contract-related activities and verify compliance* Plan and participate in the training of contract practices within the company* Interact regularly with Program Managers and internal stakeholders to support and resolve contractual needs or issues and ensure contract compliance* Resolve multi-faceted and complex contractual and customer issues as they arise* Support program subcontracting and consultant needs, complying with company and federal purchasing policies and requirements* Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to contract requirements and company goals* Knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) and performing subcontractor proposal analyses and justifications* Process and negotiate Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements* Analyze financial reports and technical documents for contractual compliance and schedule* Must be organized and detail-oriented, demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking skills, and coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment* Must have attention to detail to spot inconsistencies in contracts and the ability to advise and interpret contractual requirements* Ability to work productively, independently, and as part of a team to meet project objectives within designated timelines* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Preferred Qualifications* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)* NCMA Certified Contracts Management Professional (CPCM) or equivalent certificationRequired Education/Experience* Bachelor's degree in business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience* 7-12 years of federal contract administration experienceSalary: $110,00.00 - $150,000.00Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
