We are working with an established nonprofit organization in the Delaware, OH are on a CFO search. This organization boasts strong and reliable funding for its programming, as well as an excellent benefit package with 403b contributions and great PTO plan. They are looking for a mission-focused individual to join their executive team as the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer:
Partner with the CEO to address fiscal, operational, administrative, and strategic issues, providing strategic recommendations based on analysis.
Serve as the executive leader for administrative and financial operations, including policy development, legal engagement, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Develop, support, and manage direct staff in finance, facilities, HR, and IT, ensuring systems and processes are effective and efficient.
Oversee cash flow planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, and implementation of budgets, ensuring accurate and timely presentation of operational metrics.
Manage human resources for over 100 staff, including benefits negotiations, recruitment strategies, compliance with laws, and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications of the Chief Financial Officer:
10+ years accounting and finance experience
Nonprofit industry leadership experience, either by working directly for nonprofits or serving on their boards
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
Experience overseeing HR, facilities, and technology department policies and procedures
