About The Job

AcuTech Consulting Group is growing rapidly and seeking highly qualified and motivated Human Resources Director in the United States to help fuel our growth. Candidates would join a highly respected team of industry experts.

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the company leaders on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources function by planning, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, programs, practices, and systems. They will be responsible for shaping the performance and development of employees through an internal Learning & Development program, career development program, and other initiatives.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with the Leadership team to understand and execute the company's HR and Talent Acquisition strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention.
  • Manage AcuTech's full-time recruiter to optimize the talent acquisition process, including collaborating with Managers to understand open positions, sourcing/recruiting, interviewing, assessing, and hiring new employees against hiring goals.
  • Map potential markets and provide 'on demand' talent pool research and analysis.
  • Leverage recruiting platforms including Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, and social media to actively engage top prospects and build awareness for AcuTech Careers
  • Manage a company HRIS platform, BambooHR, to manage employee information, onboard and offboard employees, manage company surveys and performance management, and more.
  • Run payroll and 401k payroll according to a semi-monthly payroll schedule
  • Review, improve and maintain internal HR policies and procedures; ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
  • Improve the Career Development and Learning & Development programs to provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Continue to revise and update the Performance Management process; train Managers to coach; counsel and provide feedback to employees; expand use of BambooHR performance tools.
  • Continue to build out the corporate appraisal and compensation philosophy and program, analyzing trends and proposing a pay program to ensure the company attracts and retains talent.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance employee benefit programs, including insurance plans.
  • Communicate HR matters to employees, as needed (i.e. new benefits, updated policies, etc.).
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Perform other HR duties, as assigned.
What's Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources, including 5 years' of experience in responsible management of similar functions.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and/or managing the full scope of HR responsibilities, including, but not limited to recruiting, benefits administration, policy development, HR systems, Learning & Development, knowledge of employment laws and regulations, etc.
  • Strong recruiting experience and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills.
  • Attention to detail and good judgement.
  • Passion, understanding, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to shift focus quickly as needed and support multiple searches in a wide variety of roles.
  • Ability to work in the AcuTech corporate and other offices, as needed.
What's Preferred
  • SHRM certification or other similar certification.
  • International HR experience.

  • Expertise training managers and employees.
  • Intellectual curiosity around technology, business, and industry.
