At ManTech, you'll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to support a pivotal Defense Health Agency (DHA) program within our Health Portfolio. This role serves as one of the senior leaders on the program who oversees DML-ES Legacy activities supporting Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Narcotics Ordering Review and Approval (NORA), and Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR).The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This is a hybrid position - working on-site three days per week. Expanded telework options may be available depending on location or on a case-by-case basis.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Primary customer POC for all things related to systems under the DML-ES Legacy umbrella.* Successful and on-time delivery of software/releases.* Maintain a project schedule for planned DML-ES Legacy systems and activities, to include assigning resources and addressing resource over-allocation as needed.* Work towards, and track completion of, outcomes from the roadmap for DML-ES Legacy systems and ensure project goals are accomplished meeting the CDRL/SOW requirements.* Coordinate with other project leaders on the program for dependent activities and ensure planning to completion in line with all schedules.* Conduct risk management throughout the life of the program, capturing program and project-level risks and developing risk mitigation strategies; monitor risks for changes in Likelihood and Impact levels, and escalate risks as issues and work to de-escalate issues to a risk and eventual closure.* Work closely with stakeholders to define scope, provide updates, work through impediments, and prioritize activities as needed.* Hold recurring meetings with the team to track progress, identify impediments, and ensure activities are being worked based on priority and schedules.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Systems Engineering, Development, Database Administration, Business Analysts, IV&V, Configuration Management, and Cybersecurity in support of DML-ES activities.* Review and provide inputs to project deliverables and briefings.* Define and monitor project quality standards; conduct quality control checks.* Report project progress routinely to the customer and other stakeholders and provide timely notice of any problems (real or potential) that could significantly affect schedules, cost, and/or scope.* Ensure team members complete annual training requirements and complete timesheets in a timely manner.* Support other program requirements as needed.Minimum Qualifications:* Project Manager Professional (PMP) certified* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with the customer through frequent, clear, and complete communication.* Experience on projects involving Agile and DevOps processes* Experience leading medium to large size project teams* Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and trade-off analysis skills.* Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT related field / or 4 years of related experience.* Proficient with software applications, to include MS Project, MS Office, and MS Teams.* Knowledgeable in configuration management tools: JIRA, Confluence, PVCS, SBM, and Git.* Ability to solve a range of problems independently.* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Preferred Qualifications:* Knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics - Enterprise Solution (DML-ES), particularly the DMLSS, NORA, and JMAR systems.* Understanding of and some experience overseeing implementation of ITIL practices* Strong collaboration skills at all organizational levels.* Multi-tasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting stringent deadlines.* Excellent communication skills and team player.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Clearance Requirement:* Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain Public Trust Suitability. Will be subject to a Tier 3 investigation for CAC eligibility only.Physical Requirements:* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.* The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The projected compensation range for this position is $116,600-$165,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
