The Quality Control Inspector implements quality control procedures to ensure compliance with contract specifications through inspection of completed work tasks. Inspections are documented using a CMMS so that data is available for analysis and reporting and to generate needed work orders for corrective actions.

  • Implements inspection procedures, checklists, and schedules.
  • Communicate inspection results with the QC Coordinator, QA Manager, or Director Quality Development - as appropriate. Releases inspection reports in accordance with the contract and Didlake operating procedures.
  • Meets regularly with QC Coordinator and the QA Manager/Director Quality Development to provide written, and/or oral status reports on quality assurance program.
  • Participates in all initial training programs and assists with conducting training as required or requested.
  • Fosters teamwork while balancing team and individual responsibilities; giving feedback to nurture a positive team spirit and quality performance; and modeling dependability, hard work, strong business ethics, and professional personal appearance.
  • Assures safety of employees by monitoring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety policies as discovered through inspection activities.
  • Fosters an atmosphere that promotes Human Rights for all clients and ensures training, incident reporting, and awareness of responsibilities of all personnel regarding Human Rights matters.
  • Completes required paperwork and/or documentation.
  • Completes and maintains all Didlake required training.
  • Responsible for appropriate conduct and demeanor as dictated by Didlake policy.
  • Other duties as assigned, or as stated in Statement of Work.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent; minimum three (3) years' work experience, preferably in custodial or quality control.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess the ability to pass a security clearance background check
  • Must be able to obtain a clearance.
  • Must possess strong communication skills including the ability to read and interpret documents (such as SOPs and Reports), writing routine correspondence, basic familiarity with Computers and Office Software (such as Microsoft Office and web-based information).
  • Ability to interact, train and resolve personnel issues with staff with assorted disabilities.
  • Familiarity with reading following Standard Operating Procedures.
