Position will be based at the Operations and Transportation Facility and will support school enrollment for elementary students and screen Pre-K registration packets for the district during the summer.
The individual appointed will complete all WVEIS and enrollment data accurately for each enrollee. In addition, complete the enrollment process for all students, checking for required documentation, verifying proof of residency, entering required information into WVEIS, immunization records, obtaining transcripts from previous schools if transferring.
Work days: Monday - Thursday, July 1, 2024 - August 1, 2024
Work assignment: 20 days, July 1 is prep day, July 2 - July 31 will be the regular workdays, and August 1 will be a prep day for closing and delivering packets to their home schools.
Work hours:
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Additional Job Information
Must meet WV Standards for secretaries, which requires passing a competency test, interview, and completing a performance portion.
Required hiring documents: The successful candidate for a secretary position must have on file or be prepared to provide a copy of a high school diploma, GED, or transcripts. Must follow the background check procedures pursuant to WV code. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy including but not limited to evidence of a successful work history and a minimum of three supervisory references.
