BigBear.ai is seeking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Federal Solutions Center (FSC) team.
What you will do
- The candidate will join the current Federal Solutions Center team working on cybersecurity projects ranging from designing defensive cybersecurity solutions for space-based optical communications terminals to evaluating offensive cyber capabilities in our lab environment
- The candidate will develop cybersecurity tools and capabilities to be used within the FSC or productized for external sale
- The candidate will work with the FSC team to perform vulnerability research, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and design analysis
- The candidate will participate in the entire software development lifecycle: Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, and Maintenance for FSC products and services
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar degree and 3-5 years of experience
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Enthusiastic interest in technology and desire to learn
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Skills with programming languages: Python, C/C++, or Java
- Interest in computer hardware, microprocessors, electronics
- General knowledge of IT infrastructure and computer networking
- Knowledge of computer architecture
- Knowledge of operating system architectures
- Reverse Engineering experience with Ghidra or IDA Pro
- Experience with assembly languages (x86, ARM, PowerPC, MIPS)
- Experience with cybersecurity tools such as those packaged in Kali Linux
- Cybersecurity training or certificationsOther
