BackgroundThis is a full-time on-site role for a Key Action Officer position for Air Force Test and Evaluation (AF/T&E) located in Arlington, VA. As a key Action Officer you will be responsible for drafting, implementing, and overseeing protections/security policy, plans, and procedures to provide comprehensive, multi-discipline security guidance to safeguard T&E facilities, missions, and activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, provide expertise in multiple protections/security disciplines (i.e. Operational, Physical, Industrial, Information, Cyber, etc), in risk mitigation, development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and measure the effectiveness and compliance of protections/security policy, plans, procedures, controls and protocols.Job DutiesDuties will include:Program development and management.Establish policy, procedures, controls, and protocols for detecting and mitigating protections/security risk activities.Develop, implement, and manage security TPPs focusing on operational protection/security.Develop best practices and innovative solutions to enhance T&E protections/security posture.Develop and implement training programs to educate projects leads on risks/threats and protections/security mitigation best practices.Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure comprehensive protections/security measures are in place.Operational Oversight.Develop and lead efforts in identifying and preventing protections/security issues.Development and maintain incident response plans and protocols.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of protections/security policies, plans, operations, and initiatives.Development of protections/security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.Providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to protections/security policy, plans, procedures, controls, and protocols.Place of PerformanceArlington, VA (Onsite)To Apply For This PositionUse the following link to apply: Position RequirementsBachelor's degree. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in multiple protections/security disciplines, with a focus on operational protections/security, or experience with T&E programsProven track record in developing and managing protections/security programs and initiatives.Extensive expertise and experience in development and implementation of policy, procedures, control, and protocols.Experience in the development of TTPs.Experience working either with T&E, program offices, and intelligence agencies.Top Secret/SCI, or Top Secret eligible for SCISkills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.Proficiency in security technologies and systems.High level of integrity and confidentiality.
