We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team on a full time 6-month fixed term basis at our Perth Office.

We are looking for an individual who has exceptional administrative, organisational and time management skills and is passionate about providing high level customer support and candidate experience.

About this role

This position will provide a range of talent acquisition co-ordination and administration services in support of relevant process, the talent acquisition area and hiring managers, including:

  • Provide support and guidance to Formal Leaders, internal/external candidates, and external suppliers on Western Power s talent acquisition and selection process.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new starters for the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to Talent Acquisition area including but not limited to:
    • Ensuring new hire documentation and details are complete and accurate for all new hires resulting in a seamless onboarding process.
    • Completion of low to mid-level appointments including direct / internal / secondments as requested.
    • Managing and actioning the recruitment inbox.
    • Allocation of requisitions and liaising with systems team on IT / systems issues.
    • Seeking relevant approvals from hiring managers as well as drafting, posting, and editing job adverts.
    • Screening / Interview scheduling.
    • Coordination of pre-employment / visa / relocation processes.
  • Assisting with the coordination of entry level program recruitment activities.
  • Engaging consistently throughout the process with internal/external candidates ensuring a best-in-class candidate onboarding experience.
  • Maintaining real time accuracy of systems and all trackers as well as filing all onboarding documentation.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Prior experience in providing administrative support to a busy Talent Acquisition / HR or related team is essential
  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition / Mobilisation best practice methodologies
  • Familiarisation of recruitment systems and reporting metrics highly desirable
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • High energy, working with a sense of urgency and a high level of accuracy.
  • Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics subjects
