This role will be offered on a full-time 6 weeks on, two weeks off roster basis.In this role, will be aRemote Area Nurse or an exceptional Operational leader and will provide management oversight to Kutjungka Health Centre staff, work as part of the multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services and programs (including emergency care) under the

Model ofCare.Some of your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limitedto):Lead amultidisciplinary team and coordinate external health service providers to provide aquality and comprehensive primary health care service to the community under the

Model ofCare;Undertake the day to day operational management, staff supervision and coordination of health service delivery at the healthcentre;Manage the operational budget of the health centre in consultation with the Executive Manager, Remote Services to ensure appropriate financial management and reporting of the health centre resources, including Medicare incomegeneration;Promote and support the role of the Aboriginal health workforce as crucial to improving health outcomes of Aboriginalpeople;Direct Clinic staff to coordinate and provide professional, evidence based primary health care to individuals, families and the community utilising aholistic and culturally acceptableapproachAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will be aRegistered Nurse/Practitioner and hold acurrent

AHPRA

Registration, with aminimum

5 years post graduate experience. You will also have previous experience in asimilar role and demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of comprehensive primary health care, including emergencycare.The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills and astrong understanding of cultural safety including acommitment to the principles of Aboriginal community control of healthservices.KAMS
