CACI is seeking a Deputy Project Manager in support of the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model.

**What Youll Get to Do:**

In this role you will assist the CMDB Project Manager to oversee a large team responsible for managing the development, configuration, and deployment of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) including software applications, engineering projects, interfaces, infrastructure, and enterprise deployment activities in support of the Department of the Air Force.

The candidate will monitor project progress of a technical team including subject matter experts (SMEs), technicians, developers, business analysts, testers, network engineers, and other appropriate expertise as needed to develop, design, document, implement and manage small- and large-scale tasks. The Deputy Project Manager will ensure compliance with established project implementation processes through all phases of the project life cycle (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, disposition, implementation, operations & maintenance) as well as deliver the appropriate artifacts defined by project processes and those contractually required. They will also coordinate Government milestones such as Systems Design Review Board (SRDB) and Operational Readiness Review (ORR).

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.? The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.? The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and contractors.

They will meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. They ensure conformance with program task schedules. They prepare or directs the preparation of briefing materials suitable for presentation to senior staff, executive staff, and Federal oversight committees.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for monitoring progress against the Integrated Master Schedule.

+ Creates detailed reporting to monitor project progress.

+ Collaborates and regularly communicates with project manager on project status.

+ Recommends ways to improve existing processes using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills.

+ Coordinates Government milestones such as System Design. Review Board (SRDB) and Operational Readiness Review (ORR)

+ Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.

+ Reviews Contract Deliverables.

+ Assists in the writing of project requirements, test plans, test scripts and other project deliverables.

+ Develops program / project standard operating procedures as required.

**Youll Bring These Qualifications:**

**Qualifications:**

+ DoD Secret Clearance.

+ 15+ Years relevant experience (a Bachelors Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience)

+ Intermediate to advanced MS Project skills to aid with schedule generation and project tracking.

+ Familiarity with ServiceNow.

+ Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.

+ Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.

**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**

+ ServiceNow CMDB experience

+ Axonius Platform experience

+ Asset Management experience

+ Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies

+ An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

+ Experience working in the Department of Defense.
