The Superior Group is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in the TSG Co-Op or internship program during the Fall 2024 term (September - December). We rely on our interns to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.
Under the guidance of our BIM/VDC team, you'll work alongside our BIM Modeling team, gaining exposure to 3D models, BIM software programs, and so much more. We also host in-house workshops to help you develop workplace and estimating-specific skills.
Key Responsibilities
Help prepare 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit
Prepare 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordination
Help run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process
Help support with installation and prefabrication drawings
Help build Revit families, prefab assemblies, and contribute to BIM standards
Learn established standards for modeling and production of drawings
Strive to continuously develop your skills in our core applications
Your Character Traits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
You're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
Have a thorough understanding of computer systems and applications
Education Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
