Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sr. HR Manager to join our team and lead our human resources department in a collaborative and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee experience, compliance, immigration, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, training, employee relations, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee experience and engagement.
  • Monitor and address employee feedback and concerns to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Manage immigration processes for employees, including visas and work permits.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Collaborate with benefit providers to ensure competitive and cost-effective offerings.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and final paperwork.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve employee performance.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
  • Assess and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and update HR policies, systems, and procedures to align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate policies effectively to ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and annual audits.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect across the organization.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with immigration processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Experience as an HR Manager in GovCon highly preferred.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and managerial skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
