• Senior Accountant will lead the development of annual plan and report-out processes and formats as relates to manufacturing standard and variance cost accounting
• Maintain fixed assets schedule and prepare monthly operational reports explaining material, labor and overhead efficiency and productivity costs in comparison to plan
• Assist with both month end and year processes
• Prepare monthly standard and gross margin analyses as well as monthly cost of goods manufactured' and cost of goods sold' statements
• Prepare and maintain standard adjusting journal entries with related support as relates to operational cost accounting and monthly inventory book to perpetual
• As a Senior Accountant, you will support external audit and tax preparation functions as relates to cost accounting
• Support the Controller in responding to inquiries from management, auditors, headquarters and other authorities regarding cost accounting issues, data in reports, financial information and policies and procedures related to cost accounting as well as SOX compliance
• Review current and suggest additional operational reports to properly assess the financial implications of manufacturing activities
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Advanced degree preferred
• 3 years of progressive experience within accounting/finance with specialty in manufacturing cost accounting
• Proven record in assisting operational leadership with understanding and improving processes to support bottom line results
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
