Extrusion Crane Operator II 2nd Shift

Job description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17-$21 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential

2nd Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The crane operator is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

* Fill out Crane Checklist

* Load and unload trucks

* Crane vinyl bins from Extrusion into Crane Area

* Pull all empty bins off saw row and replace with new bin

* Supply Extrusion packers with empty bins

* Supply Foam Table with material

* Load Saw lines

* Pull tags and turn tags in at the end of shift

* Fill out Crane Cleaning checklist daily at end of shift

* Operate tow motor when required

* Organize material and use FIFO methods

* Scan Inventory

Qualifications

* Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

* Must be authorized to work in the US

* Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

* Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions

* Ability to stand for extended periods

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

* Preferably with experience in crane operation

* Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
