A client of Insight Globals is hiring a TOP SECRET Cyber Engineer to sit onsite in Reston, VA. An active TOP SECRET clearance is required for this role. This candidate will manage and secure various operating systems, ensure system operation, and interact with stakeholders. This person will install and configure systems following government regulations, maintain documentation, and address security vulnerabilities. In addition, you will implement and test new technologies, conduct risk assessments, present security principles, and help implement policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in NIST/ISO standards, DoD directives, regulatory requirements, and experience in systems integration and administration in a high-security environment.

- A current, fully adjudicated counterintelligence polygraph
- Experience in automating management of Windows and Linux systems
- VMware administration (vRealize, vSphere, NSX, SRM)
- Experience in development of secure Windows and Linux system baseline configurations
- LDAP authentication and management
- Enterprise storage resources (ECS, Unity, Nimble, PowerStore)
- Systems management (SCCM, Centrify, Puppet/ Foreman , Redhat Satellite)
- Active Directory/Group Policy
- A current, fully adjudicated TOP SECRET (Tier 5) clearance
- The ability to certify and maintain information security related certification (Security+, CASP+, CySA+)
- Knowledge in NIST/ISO standards, DoD directives, and regulatory requirements (800-171/53 and CMMC)
- Systems integration in a heterogeneous network environment
- Operating and providing systems administration and support in a high-security research computing environment
