Avyanna Technologies, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a skilled BI Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and managing business intelligence solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Location: Primary locations are 9000 Rockville Pike, Building 31C, and 5601 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD. Note: In-person meetings may be required for remote staff once per year and would take place within 50 miles of one of the primary locations. Local candidates to the DC, MD, VA area are preferable.
Type: Full-time
Clearance: Candidate must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance. US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) required. This position is unable to sponsor H1B or Visa Holders.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create business intelligence visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using tools like Microsoft SSIS and Hitachi Pentaho to facilitate data integration and transformation.
- Write complex T-SQL queries and utilize stored procedures, manage RESTful APIs, and handle data formats like XML and JSON.
- Analyze and recommend database schemas and data warehouse solutions to support enhanced BI applications.
- Ensure all BI visualizations and database designs comply with U.S. 508 Compliance standards.
- Manage comprehensive documentation for each BI solution developed, detailing functionality, dependencies, and business value.
- Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development.
- Expertise in BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and API management.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in data warehouse management and schema design.
- Certifications in BI tools and technologies.
- Experience working on technology projects in healthcare or similar sectors.
