Job description

**Description:**


Our client is looking for a plant engineer to perform preventative maintenance functions on large HVAC and refrigeration systems. This primary a stationary position. Candidate must have 3 years experience with large commercial or industrial HVAC experience. Candidate will be required to have a Maryland 1st stationary engineer license, CFC universal, and clean driving record. Must be able to work nights and weekends.


Performs assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.


Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.


Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested


Replaces lighting and ballasts.


Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.


Complies with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.


Recognizes danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.


Essential Functions of the job


-Make rounds on boiler rooms


-Check water levels


-collect water sample


-clean and unclog toilets, drains, facets


-maintain work logs


-request assistance from maintenance personnel when needed


-perform electrical maintenance on receptacles, light switches, electrical circuit
