ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide quality customer service, managing and responding professionally to all inquiries, including email, walk-in, and phone customers.
  • Provide telephone support on the customer care help desk.
  • Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating, and delivering findings.
  • Maintain documentation by entering information accurately and quickly.
  • Enhance the organization's reputation and brand identity by providing a positive customer experience for all those contacted by email, phone, or in person.
  • Providing support to business services staff
  • Maintaining a customer-centric environment in public areas of council facilities.
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of one year experience in general office practices.
  • Call center experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent technical computer skills in Microsoft Office with intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel and/or introductory knowledge of Publisher desirable.
  • Knowledge of Outlook and social networking.
  • Ability to assist internal and external customers by researching and providing information and responding to requests promptly.
  • Ability to organize materials and equipment for easy access for all audiences.
  • Ability to analyze information to determine its priority and handle it appropriately.
  • Valid state driver's license and functioning vehicle for work within the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio region.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. The days of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Hours of work will vary, depending on support required by service units and the time of year.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a valid state driver's license and functioning vehicle for work within the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio region. Successful completion of fingerprinting and a criminal background check as required by Ohio law. Commitment to making a difference in girls' lives as expressed in the Ends statements; mission and goals for girls, as noted in the Board Policy Manual.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
