Estimator

Hercules Fence is a premier fence and perimeter security company in the VA/DC/MD area. We excel in commercial and high security work at some of the most prestigious locations in the United States. We are looking for a driven Estimator who will be responsible for creating qualified estimates for all types of fencing, gates, and operators.

Core Job Functions

• Maintain/grow existing client relationships and build your own network by developing new business
• Review, comprehend and quantify plans, specifications, addendums, RFI responses
• Communicate with contractors to clarify scope & schedule
• Submit RFQ s to vendors and subcontractors, confirm compliance with plans and specifications
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and written technical proposals
• Present estimated budget, plans, details, specifications, vendor quotes & written technical proposal to Hercules Management prior to submission
• Track all bids
• After award, prepare and hand off all bid documents and correspondence to the Project Manager assigned
• Support contract negotiation efforts and remain involved with the project until all internal and external questions are answered

• Self-motivated

Job Requirements

Minimal General Education

• High School Diploma
• College Degree Desirable

Minimum Working Experience

• Experience within the fencing industry preferred but not required, or
• Minimum 3-5 years of varied construction industry experience preferred

Other Requirements

• Must be located within the United States
• Be able to commute daily to the office and job sites as required
• Pass necessary background verification checks to gain access to Government worksites
• Valid driver s license
