Senior Scientist, Formulation Development - R&D

A top pharmaceutical client of ours is looking for a Senior Scientist of Formulation Development to join their team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the formulation development for new pharmaceutical products, from concept to commercialization.
• Design and conduct pre-formulation and formulation studies, including compatibility, solubility, and stability assessments.
• Develop and optimize formulations for various dosage forms, including solids, liquids, and semi-solids.
• Oversee scale-up processes and technology transfer to manufacturing, ensuring robustness and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare technical reports, formulation protocols, and regulatory submission documents.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements in formulation science.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior scientists and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree Preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in formulation development or analytical R&D
• Experience with transdermal, tranmucossal or oral film applications highly preferred.
