Job Description: As an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, representing clients in litigation involving insurance claims. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Providing legal counsel and representation in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Evaluating cases and providing strategic advice to clients on litigation and settlement options.
• Working with legal support staff on case-related tasks.
• Building strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California state bar and in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Must be located in California

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling complex insurance defense cases.
• Trial experience is a plus.
