As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American.

The Clinical Quality Lead oversees health information management (HIM) within the 4DW, focusing on three key functions. Firstly, they manage the ETL process for data migration, particularly transforming data from the legacy EHR system (RPMS) for integration into the new EHR system. Secondly, they handle clinical quality reporting. Minimum qualifications include being a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or holding a Master's in Public Health (MPH), with support from AHIMA-certified staff.

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Clinical Quality Lead: Pay commensurate with experience.

Clinical Quality Lead Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process for migrating data from the legacy EHR system (RPMS) to the new EHR system.
  • Ensure that data from RPMS undergo appropriate transformation to meet the format and standards required by the new EHR system.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and data analysts to troubleshoot any issues encountered during the ETL process.
  • Develop and implement processes for generating clinical quality reports based on the data stored in the EHR system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and quality improvement teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for clinical quality reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in clinical quality reports through validation and quality assurance measures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Clinical Quality Lead Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or - Master's in Public Health (MPH) supported by staff with RHIA and RHIT credentials from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
  • Lead a team of HIM professionals responsible for managing health information within the 4DW.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures for HIM activities, including data entry, retrieval, and confidentiality.
  • Train HIM staff on best practices, regulatory requirements, and technology tools related to health information management.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
