***THIS ROLE IS OPEN FOR SPONSORED CANDIDATES******CANDIDATES WITHIN 25 MILES FROM MCLEAN, VA ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY******THIS ROLE REQUIRES THE DEVELOPER TO BE ONSITE (HYBRID), 3 DAYS A WEEK******THIS ROLE IS FOR A DIRECT CLIENT***SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT SPECIALISTDuration: 6 months contractLocation: Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA on Tuesday, Wednesday and ThursdaySchedule: StandardYears of experience: 7+Must Haves: Strong software engineering/development background - Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud Native Architecture.Soft Skill Must Haves: Collaborative, Knowledge of Agile, and experience working with Chief Product owners, ability to create architecture roadmaps.Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture and Business Application development.Prior Software development background.5+ years of relevant task management experience.Hands-on and architectural experience with modern Cloud Native architectures is required in this role, as well as proven record of leading architects through organizational transformations.3+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to architecture preferred.Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable.Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry preferred.Extensive experience in Solution Architecture patterns such as micro-front ends, microservices, 12 factor applications etc.Keys to Success in this Role:Highly motivated and energetic self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.Proven experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment.Excellent communication, leadership and relationship management skills, that enable partnering with and influencing key stakeholders in an open, collaborative environment at all levels in an organization.Technical and Architectural leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud based distributed systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
