Regional Sales Manager (Northeast)

Job description

Dixon is seeking a talented and results-driven individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region. The position will be based out of our Headquarters location in Chestertown, MD. The territory covers states including OH, KY, WV, VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, VT, & ME. The ideal candidate will oversee sales activities across multiple states, managing a team of 4 - 5 Territory Managers. This person will set goals for sales growth, develop forecasts and training. Overnight travel approximately 50 percent of time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities within the designated region, setting and achieving sales growth targets.
  • Supervise and support Territory Managers, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Develop sales forecasts, strategies, and training programs to optimize performance.
  • Create regional and national account strategies for key accounts within the Northeast region.
  • Report directly to the National Sales Manager, ensuring alignment with company goals.


Requirements:

  • B2B sales experience with a strong understanding of industrial hose fittings & accessories.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, training, and managing teams.
  • Minimum 5 years of field experience in industrial outside sales and at least 3 years of proven management experience.
