Job Description

Hill is seeking a Construction Inspector with experience in water projects in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be responsible for providing daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications
  • Be proactive and alert project management professionals to issues that may come up in the field
  • Provide solutions to mitigate those problems
  • Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards
  • Must be able to document the work via the daily inspection report and various other reports in

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience desired
  • Concrete inspecting/testing background, preferably ACI certified
  • Civil/Water/Wastewater experience desired
  • City of Columbus experience a plus but not required
  • Previous experience in municipal utility or treatment plant construction inspections a plus
  • Must be willing to work full time on site
